Info for Content Creators & Press

Content creators and Tiny Teams

Hey content content creators and gaming journalists! Tiny Teams will soon be returning for its seventh festival, and we'd love for you to get involved!

The festival runs from 6th - 13th August 2026. It brings an opportunity to try out a range of games, including ones you may have already heard of as well as some hidden gems and what could be the next "big thing". Our game selection is carefully curated, and covers a wide range of genres and styles - we're sure you'll find something you love!

Closer to the festival you will be able to apply for keys for your coverage. An application form will be available on this page. We will announce this on our socials and in the Discord.

FAQ

  • Tiny Teams is an opportunity to try out a range of games, from already popular indie hits, to hidden gems and what could be the next "big thing". Our game selection is carefully curated, and covers a wide range of genres and styles - we're sure you'll find something you love!

  • Stay tuned for an announcement in the Tiny Teams Discord - we'll let everyone know there when applications for content creators open!

  • The list of games will be announced closer to the festival. Keys will include a mixture of demos, exclusive previews, Early Access titles, and fully released games. All of them have been hand-picked by our team, as some of the best indie titles Steam has to offer.

  • No. Keys are non-transferable, and you are not allowed to gift them to anyone else. The exception is for multiplayer games, where you may be able to get extra keys so that you can make content with friends.

  • We aim to send you this information with enough time before the festival for you to plan your content.

  • Tiny Teams is open to creators of all sizes! However, these are some of the things we look for:

    • your channel has been recently active (bonus points for consistently active)

    • your channel is relevant to indie gameplay - not just music or cat videos!

    • if you're a streamer, your previous streams are available for the public to watch (if you use Twitch, we recommend enabling autosave, and ensuring they are not set to sub-only)

    • ideally, you use a microphone in your content

    • ideally, you either create video and/or livestream content, or are an established press outlet

    • your channels are linked to your Discord profile so that we can verify your ownership of the accounts (to do this, go to Discord User Settings > Connections)

  • Unfortunately, we're unable to accept all creators that apply. However, some of the games selected for the festival will have public demos available, so we encourage you to check out the festival page on Steam regardless.

  • Press kits will be available soon. These will contain assets for Tiny Teams 2026, as well as for selected games.

  • The embargo for content is the start of the festival. We ask that you do not prepare or release content before this. This is to ensure you are using a version of the game that the developers are happy for you to make content about - avoiding leaks, spoilers, or out-of-date / subpar gameplay. Established press outlets and their representatives may be granted early access to specific games, but are subject to the same embargo for release.

While you will be able to keep playing some of the games after the festival, bear in mind that others - for example exclusive previews - may have their keys revoked after the festival ends. For this reason, we encourage creators to make their content during the festival itself where possible.

  • Feel free to get in touch via the Tiny Teams Discord!
