Submissions for Tiny Teams 2025 are now CLOSED
Thank you for sharing your games with us!
The Tiny Teams 2025 festival will run on Steam and on the Yogscast channels from the 7th-14th August 2025.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the number of submissions, we are unable to contact every game that didn’t make it in this year. If your game is selected, you will receive direct contact from us. Once all successful games have been contacted over the next few weeks, we will make an announcement on the Tiny Teams Discord.
If you have any questions about your application, please check the FAQ below, or join our Discord for further information.
FAQ
-
The event will run on Steam and on the Yogscast channels from the 7th-14th August 2025.
-
If your studio consists of five or fewer core members, then you’re tiny in our books. Publishers, if you have them, do not count towards your 5 members.
-
If press opportunities arise and you have opted in, press keys will be sent out around two weeks before the festival. If you don't opt in to press coverage, your final build will just need to be ready before the event starts on 7th August. We recommend putting up your final or near-final build at least 24 hours before then, and updating your build throughout the festival if needed.
-
No, your game can be either released or in development - both are welcome.
-
This is a Steam festival, so we cannot consider games that are exclusively on other platforms.
-
You’re welcome to submit free or paid games.
-
You do not need to have a public demo of your game to be eligible for Tiny Teams - though it doesn’t hurt!
-
Yes. It’s important to us that we play every game before it is selected for the event. This can either be a private build or a public demo.
-
Streaming is a large part of Tiny Teams, but if you don’t feel your game is ready to be streamed during the event, please note it in your submission.
-
No - the sale event is an opt-in section of Tiny Teams. However, if your game is released and it fits into your current promotion schedule, we recommend taking part in the sale because of the high visibility the event will provide.
-
Tiny Teams is a tiny festival. To maximise visibility for the devs, we keep the number of games in the event relatively low compared to other events. This means that not every game will make it into the festival. For our 2024 festival, around 140 games made it in, out of over 1600 submissions.
-
Will my game be streamed by the Yogscast?
While we try to play as many selected games as we can, we will be unable to play everything during the event. To ensure the best streams, creators are given free choice to pick games, and not every game will be chosen for the Yogscast channels.
What about other creators or press? If selected, you will be given the option to provide keys to be distributed amongst external content creators and/or press. While this increases the likelihood of your game being covered, it is not a guarantee of coverage.
-
Any content of your selected game that was streamed on the Yogscast main channel is fine to use for your Steam pages, social media or trailers. If the content was on an individual or other creator's channel, you would have to ask the creator directly.
